Reused Terrarium
These cool little terrariums are made from reclaimed glasses from Fernseed out of Oakland, CA. At Fernseed they take discarded, unwanted, and unloved things are reuse them for a brand new product. Props to Kristine Dang, the founder of Fernseed, for reusing items that normally would end up in the trash heap.

I’ve always been a fan of midcentury modern design and architecture. It probably goes back to my fascination of all that is Frank Lloyd Wright and the way some of his designs, on a much smaller scale, made it’s way into 60’s architecture. Most notably the ranch home. So it was a pleasure to find a magazine dedicated just to that. Atomic Ranch concentrates on midcentury houses—from 1940s ranch tracts to 1960s architect-designed modernist homes. With an emphasis on affordable solutions and homeowner renovations, their quarterly magazine shows you how to make your house cool, both inside and out.

What a car to bring back for a modern upgrade. The 2009 Gullwing-America 300 SL Panamericana is sleek in old school design and upgraded for the future.
The car will have an aluminum body constructed with aircraft composite technology and chassis made of powder coated steel, the car will be powered by Mercedes’ M-133-55 engine, wired to raise the horsepower to 370. Also a red leather interior and an old-school instrument panel.
It will come in black or white and will be mega expensive.
Thanks Cool Hunter

Rifflet is an interesting site. Say you have a beat laid down with a drum machine or a guitar riff, maybe an unfinished song. You upload it to rifflet.com where others take what you have and add it to their own unfinished songs. Presto, music collaboration. Kind of a Twitter for music. All samples are free to share as well. Check out Rifflet.com.
